Romania posts a surplus of EUR 1.3 bn in international furniture trade

During January – October period in 2017, Romania recorded a surplus of EUR 1.33 billion in the international furniture trade and parts thereof, according to National Institute of Statistics (INS) data, capital.ro informs.

Exports amounted to EUR 1,861 billion, 2 percent higher than in the similar period of 2016, while the imports reached EUR 530 million, 7.6 percent more than in the previous year.

In the first ten months of 2017, Romania’s FOB exports totaled EUR 52.361 billion and increased by 9.2 percent compared to the previous year, and CIF imports amounted to EUR 62.583 billion, up 12.4 percent.
