“For the six years since I founded DiFine PR, I’ve worked with hundreds of tech startup founders, some of them in their early stages – in the first rounds of a few tens of thousands of euros, and others facing investments of millions and tens of millions of euros. In addition to working with these startups, our regular clients include Techcelerator, ROTSA, SeedBlink, GapMinder, Growceanu – all representing organizations that have significantly changed, and we could even say built, what we call today the Romanian tech startup ecosystem. Through the RoTechMission project that we are supporting for the third time, we want to support the internationalization efforts of Romanian entrepreneurs and make more and more of them participate in events where they can meet other founders, learn and even meet potential investors. Because the EU-Startups Summit is not only about the event itself, but also about meeting with the diaspora, with local authorities, with potential partners, and especially with other Romanian companies that have the same goal: to grow internationally,”  said Diana Iosu, founder of DiFine PR.

“After ten years in which our event took place in Barcelona, Berlin or Munich, this year we chose the sunny Malta. But Malta is not just about the sun, it is the place where the economy is developing a lot in the area of innovation in areas like Artificial Intelligence, Big Data, Internet of Things. Also, the Maltese authorities’ strong initiatives to support entrepreneurship – among them «The Malta Startup Residence Programme» which offers a three-year residence permit for founders and their families – led us to choose Malta this year for the two days of learning and networking with the approximately 2,000 participants of the EU-Startups Summit,” said Thomas Ohr, founder and CEO of EU-Startups.
