After Samsung Electronics announced several days ago that it had stopped the production of Note7 phablet for good, the giant’s representation in Romania set up a webpage with available information about the steps that Note7 owners in Romania should take in the upcoming period.
“We recommend all those who already have Galaxy Note7, replaced or not in the global programme, to stop use it, to save their data and turn the device off. We are working together with our partners in the region to implement a replacement programme that should allow you to replace the Galaxy Note7 by a Galaxy S7 or S7 edge, with a price gap,” Samsung Electronics Romania informed.
The customers could also opt for a full reimbursement.
The details of the replacement programme will be announced on a regular basis on the above-mentioned page, but also directly to the consumers.
The company also posted a message apologizing to the Galaxy Note7 owners: “We are very sorry that we didn’t come up to the expectations you have from Samsung. We thank you for your patience all through this period and we apologize for the inconvenience caused. We would like to assure all Samsung clients that Galaxy Note7 is the only device affected by this situation.”
