SeedBlink, the funding and equity management platform for European technology start-ups, is launching Open Day, a bi-annual series of events that allow technology entrepreneurs to meet one-to-one with the company’s investment managers. The first event takes place on Wednesday, October 18th, and founders can talk about equity management and how they can structure their funding rounds to scale their business in the long term with Ionuț Pătrăhău – Managing Partner, Mircea Ghiță – Country Director in Romania, and Gabriela Dia – Investment Associate.
Open Day Bucharest is dedicated to entrepreneurs who want to raise pre-seed to Series B funding and who have international growth ambitions. SeedBlink currently offers three categories of investment opportunities, each addressing specific needs of start-ups and investors, with investment amounts ranging from €100,000 to €2,000,000. Tech start-ups addressing any industry can apply here.
“We believe in the power of innovative ideas, in determination and a wisely structured funding strategy. Through this series of events we want to identify entrepreneurs who plan to attract a new round of funding in the near future and thus to give wings to the next generation of visionary technology entrepreneurs“, says Mircea Ghiță, SeedBlink Country Director in Romania.
Ionuț Pătrăhău is Business Development & Managing Partner at SeedBlink and one of the co-founders of SeedBlink. He will be joined by Mircea Ghiță, SeedBlink’s Country Director in Romania, who is responsible for discovering promising technology start-ups and maintaining a strong relationship with SeedBlink’s national venture capital fund partners. The two are joined by Gabriela Dia, the new Investment Associate in the SeedBlink team, with experience in valuation, economics and financial modelling.
The Open Day series of events is part of a series of projects through which SeedBlink aims to support technology entrepreneurs in Europe. Among these initiatives are Nimity, an equity management solution for companies and their private investors, the Fundraising Lessons Learned from +100 Rounds Raised on SeedBlink report that provides founders with recommendations and best practices on how to attract investment, and the Tech Investors Academy – a program to educate and develop knowledge about investing in start-ups.
SeedBlink has co-invested in more than 100 technology start-ups in over 15 countries alongside a network of 75,000 investors (business angels, VCs and strategic partners) in 92 countries, according to the report. As a result, the company has raised €250 million for technology start-ups.
