SPARK, the fully electric car sharing company in Romania, has announced a new collaboration with Renault, and will add 400 new fully electric Renault ZOE to its fleet in Romania. The first batch of 100 cars is currently been added to the fleet and SPARK’s clients in Bucharest can already enjoy the new generation of Renault ZOE. The partnership makes SPARK the largest car sharing company in Romania, with more than 550 electric vehicles.

The newly added cars will increase significantly the availability of the service in Bucharest. Renault ZOE is an electric car suitable for urban intercity mobility. The version of the model available for the fleet uses a 40 kWh battery and has a range of up to 300 km (WLTP). The current rental price is 0.86 lei / min and 120 lei for a 24 hour period.

Exactly one year since our debut in Romania we achieved impressive growth. We started with less than 50 cars in Bucharest, and soon we will have more than 550 fully electric vehicles waiting for enjoyable rides. We are very excited for the collaboration with Renault and look forward to a successful long-term relationship. With the addition of 400 new Renault ZOE, we continue our strategy of becoming more accessible to clients and also the largest car sharing platform in the country. Our service is already becoming a popular solution as SPARK clients get an easy and immediate access to an affordable, zero-emission, hustle-free urban mobility alternative, which also carries the health concern benefit of travelling in an isolated environment”, said Dimitar Stoyanov, country manager of SPARK Romania.

’In the context of the current environmental challenges, we are all convinced of the importance of proposing complementary mobility solutions that meet the needs of cities to reduce CO2 emissions and combat pollution. We are enthusiast to continue our collaboration with SPARK, the expansion of the fleet with 400 Renault ZOE is a sign of the interest of cities and Bucharest people for an electric, sustainable and more competitive mobility, whose flexibility allows an easy and comfortable movement”, said Istvan LORINCZI – Fleet sales Director at Renault Commercial Roumanie.

The car fleet was prepared for delivery by Renault Authorized Agent AutoCobălcescu from Bucharest.
