Stailer.ro, an online booking platform for beauty salons, has raised its third investment this year, worth €500,000 from an angel investor group.
As part of the expansion strategy, Stailer will bolster its role in the local market so that the company will grow in all the Romanian cities by the end of 2022.
Following the bridge investment, Stailer became a company valued at €10 million, doubling the market value in six months. The new funding round is led by Cosmin Țîrvuloiu, an entrepreneur and investor in tech projects. The active investors in previous investment rounds are entrepreneurs Bogdan Herea (CEO Pitech Plus), Lorand Soares Szasz (founder Uprizers), Radu Axinte (entrepreneur and business growth specialist), Eugen Șotropa (founder e-advertising), and Cătălin Briciu (co-founder Linnify Ventures).
“Accessing the investment will enable the continued expansion of the Stailer network in an accelerated manner and prepare performance metrics for raising the next round of seed investment. Our goal is to digitize the beauty industry in Central and Eastern Europe in a short time through a blitz scale strategy,” said Andrei Ursachi, CEO and co-founder of Stailer.
From January 2022, Stailer will start registering beauty salons in Budapest, with the consumer app launching in Hungary in the second quarter of 2022.
50 new salons are listed weekly on the Stailer platform
The most important factors influencing the increase of Stailer’s market evaluation are the rapid consumer adoption, the number of bookings, and the growing demand from beauty professionals. Thus, the number of bookings from consumers has increased a hundredfold compared to the same period last year. In December of this year, Stailer will deliver at least 20,000 additional customers to the 900 partner salons in the Stailer network. In addition, 50 new salons are being listed on the platform every week, and the trend continues to accelerate. New clients delivered to beauty salons in the Stailer network are commissioned at just €1 per confirmed client, which significantly increases partner salons’ revenue and occupancy.
“At the moment, Stailer has no relevant local or regional competition. The business is placed in a blue ocean, which allows for aggressive growth locally and regionally,” adds Andrei Ursachi, CEO and co-founder of Stailer.
In terms of user numbers, Sailer’s goal is to reach a network of 1,000 salons and 5,000 stylists by the end of 2021.
