Swiss-Romanian Chamber of Commerce Elects New Boar, New President

Romanian and Swiss entrepreneurs and investors, members of the Switzerland-Romania Chamber of Commerce (CCE-R), elected a new eight-member Board of Directors during the General Assembly organized on April 15, 2024 in Bucharest. On April 19, the new board of CCE-R elected a new president of the Chamber: Dr. Adriana Cioca, Managing Director of Artemis Romania, part of Artemis Holding Switzerland.

“After three years in which I was privileged to contribute to the development of the Swiss-Romanian Chamber of Commerce as a member of the Board of Directors, I received the trust of our colleagues to lead this prestigious organization. My mission is to continue and amplify the valuable work done so far with the CCE-R team. We will promote collaboration between members and develop innovative projects that support the interests of our members, both in Romania and in Switzerland. We will continue to identify and create profitable business opportunities and support the growth of companies within this dynamic community”, said Dr. Adriana Cioca, the new president of the Swiss-Romanian Chamber of Commerce and managing director of Artemis Romania.

The new CCE-R Board of Directors consists of eight members: Frank Loeffler, General Manager, Roche Romania, Adriana Cioca, General Manager, Artemis, Daniel Hauri, President, Elbcon Holding, Laurențiu Ștefănescu, CEO, Sika Romania & Adeplast, Lucia Stoicescu, CEO, mindit.io, Teodora Koletsis, Partner, Gruia Dufaut Law Office, Ovidiu Dîmbean-Creța, Rector, ASEBUSS Business School and Miruna Enache, Fiscal Partner, EY Romania & Moldova.

The Chamber of Commerce Switzerland – Romania (Chamber of Commerce Switzerland – Romania) counts 117 members from different sectors, which together generate revenues of 19.8 billion euros globally and which have more than 18,000 employees.
Switzerland ranks 8th among the largest investors in Romania, with cumulative investments of 4 billion euros at the end of 2023, representing 3.7% of the total stock of foreign direct investments in Romania, according to data from the National Bank of Romania.
