Taco Bell, the largest fast-food restaurant chain serving Mexican food in the world, revealed when it would open its first unit in Romania. It announced on its Facebook page that the first restaurant in our country would be opened at Băneasa Shopping City in Bucharest on October 12. Taco Bell has posted that the nearest Taco Bell restaurant is 1,208 km away from Romania, namely in Nicosia, Cyprus.
Shera Franchise Group S.A. announced Taco Bell’s entry on the Romanian market this autumn in a previous press release. Sphera Franchise Group is owned by three Romanian businessmen who already control the franchises of KFC and Pizza Hut.
The South-Californian brand is part of the Yum! Brands Inc. portfolio and is the world’s leading ‘quick service restaurants’ (QSR) network, offering Mexican inspired products.
The restaurant will be inaugurated in Bucharest, within the Băneasa Shopping City, one of the main shopping centres in the capital city.
Taco Bell is an inventor of urban tastes, and its menu offers a variety of delicious, Mexican products such as the famous Crunchy Tacos, burrito, quesadilla, nachos and Crunchwrap, the release reads.
