After TAROM  general manager Werner Wilhem Wolff announced the end of his term last week, with Florin Susanu taking office, Transport minister Razvan Cuc announced that several flights will be annulled for they have few passengers on board and are not profitable.

Werner Wolff, the former TAROM head, was named in this position at the end of 2017, coming from the helm of the BMW representation Timisoara-Arad.

No, Transport minister Cuc argued that some new Tarom flights had been introduced without feasibility studies, exemplifying the Sibiu-Stuttgart, Sibiu-Munich, Timişoara-Chişinău, Timişoara-Stuttgart, Paris-Cluj or Paris-Timişoara flights.

The minister said these flights were operating with only 25% capacity, meaning „they flew with 10 passengers onboard”.

Razvan Cuc added that the new leadership of Tarom must conduct an urgent audit and cancel those flights, Digi24 reports.
