As of March 27, Romanian air carrier Tarom will suspend flights to Moscow operated by own aircrafts until the end of October, sources say, quoted by hotnews.ro.
The connection with Moscow will be conducted by the Russian company Aeroflot, the flights being operated in code sharing system.
Sources in the Ministry of Transport that the measure was taken for economic reasons. All these are mentioned in a letter sent by Tarom to the Muscovite authorities.
Romanian air carrier would be the fifth airline to give up flights in Russia, after Estonian Air, Air Berlin, Easy Jet and Thai Airways.
