„The idea of professional re-conversion should be more and more endorsed in Romania as well. On one hand we have an industry facing a tremendous deficit, and on the other hand we have people whose jobs are being shut down, relocated or re-conversed. Why not offering them the opportunity of getting training in a prosperous field that is in great need of specialists?”, said Irina Dumitru, Wild Code School Bucharest manager.

The courses are based in the classroom, but also online on the Wild Code School e-learning platform. Students will also attend workshops and hackatons, working for projects with real clients.

The hi-tech is considered no 1 on the growing demand for specialists. Romania has a deficit of around 30,000 IT specialists, according to the Association for the Electronic and Software Industry.
