Job applications in Romania have been up by 15 per cent in February as against January and by 18 per cent compared to the same period of 2018, reads the latest BestJobs statistics.
Among the most wanted jobs in Romania, there still are the ones in the transport sector, with 23,000 searches, yet on decline by 60 per cent as against January, the jobs in the financial accounting field, with 25,000 searches, but also engineering, with over 16,000 searches.
Jobs in sales, human resources or marketing have been extremely sought-after in February, with total searches mounting to over 30,000 searches.
The first ten companies based in Romania which received the most numerous applications in February have been ENEL (2,346 applications), JT International (2,3337 applications), Oracle Romania (2,160 applications ), Kaufland Romania (2,012 applications), Alpha Bank (1,669 applications), Deichmann (1,667 applications), Rompetrol (1,667), Banca Transilvania (1,638), Pepco Retail (1,557) and British American Tobacco (1,537).
The companies boasting the best employer brand in February were: Oracle, with 155 spontaneous applications, Nestle (144), British American Tobacco (124), OMV and JT International, (116 applications each), Coca-Cola HBC Romania and Unilever South Central Europe, (112 applications each), Alka Trading, (103), Kaufland Romania (102) and Sodexo (101).
