The top employers of 2018 in Romania

The IT&C industry continues to top the employers ranking in Romania, with Microsoft Romania, Oracle Romania and Zitec ranking the first, second and third among the most appreciated companies by employees.

Compared to last year, Microsoft Romania is climbing up one position, reaching the first position, while Oracle is climbing down on the second one. Zitec, a Romanian IT company, sees a remarkable rise in the employers’ ranking. Last year, the third position was occupied by IBM Romania. The top’s findings are based on the reviews voiced by the users of Undelucram.ro platform, the largest online community of employees in Romania.

The working environment the salary packages, the quality and magnitude of the projects, the working programme, collegiality, the headquarters and the management are among the criteria reviewed by the Romanian employees to determine the top employers of 2018.

„The speech of the employers in Romania or of the HR representatives has changed this year. The new waves of employees are relating to their job in a different manner, while also changing the perceptions among the older generations. For this reason, employers have been more preoccupied in 2018 with the way they are communicating on the labour market. We are facing a workforce crisis in many industries and employers concluded that it is not the salary that makes the difference, but the organisational culture. And this culture cannot be communicated only by the company, but also by those who are experiencing it, meaning the employees. Therefore, the ranking this year is the voice of the employees from the companies that are most visible on the market,” said Costin Tudor, founder  Undelucram.ro.
