Similarly to last year, IT companies are leading with the highest wages and most career development opportunities offered to employees. Compared to 2018, salaries offered to employees working in IT have risen by about 1%, according to employee wage ratings on Undelucram.ro. The employers with the highest salaries this year include ING Romania, TELUS International Europe, KPMG Romania, Microsoft Romania, Orange Romania, and Lidl.

Most career development opportunities are provided by ING Romania, KPMG Romania, HP Inc, Zitec, British American Tobacco, Lidl Romania, and Vodafone Romania.

Romanian employees don’t focus just on having an attractive salary, they also want to receive material benefits and more opportunities for professional growth. That is why employers who want to remain competitive have increased their bonuses and offer more opportunities for professional development in 2019.

ING Romania, Lidl, and KPMG Romania rank first among the top employers that offer the most professional development opportunities.

The increased competitiveness in the Romanian labor market can easily be noticed by looking at the differences between the two charts. Thus, while employers such as Orange and Philip Morris offer higher salaries, their competitors, Vodafone and British American Tobacco, offer more opportunities for employee development.

Users of Undelucram.ro also evaluated the salaries and benefits of their employers this year. Every year, the platform Undelucram.ro publishes the Employers’ Tops offering the best salaries and professional development opportunities to show how the Romanian labor market is evolving from one year to the next.

“We noticed a growing interest from companies to remain competitive in the labor market, both in terms of wages and benefits. It seems to be a result of the acute crisis of labor market personnel across all industries. Next, the IT industry holds the top positions, which confirms last few years’ trends,” said Costin Tudor, the founder of Undelucram.ro.
