Topoloveni Plum Jam promoted in San Francisco, at the Winter Fancy Food Show

The Topoloveni Plum Jam (Magiun), a 100 percent Romanian product, was presented at the beginning of the year at the Winter Fancy Food Show San Francisco, the largest agri-food exhibition on the western US coast, the representative of the producers announced on Monday. The plum jam has reached America for the first time by the second European funds promotion programme accessed by the producer Sonimpex Topoloveni “I love European Fine Foods” which started last year in Dubai.

Winter Fancy Food Show is hosting exhibiting companies from the US and 35 countries. The Topoloveni Plum Jam was the only Romanian product shown at the exhibition.

“We’ve been in Russia, Dubai and Korea, now we are stepping confidently on American soil. We hope the Americans will like the Romanian taste, kept for 100 years through this unique recipe,” said Bibiana Stanciulov, Sonimpex Topoloveni CEO.

“I love European Fine Foods’ is the second promotional programme funded by the EU accessed by the Romanian jam producer, after “Euroka – Discover Europe’s Treasures” during which the product was promoted in Norway, Switzerland and Russia.

The Topoloveni Plum Jam is supplier for the Romanian Royal House, awarded by Superior Taste Award from the Institute for Taste and Quality in Brussels. It obtained several certifications, among which Cod Operator NATO, Kosher certificate or Halal certificate.

The jam is 100 percent Romanian, 100 percent natural, sugar free, E-free, gluten-free.
