Medicover Swedish private healthcare provider has announced the financial reports of the group and of the subsidiary in Romania for last year.
The total revenues on the Romanian market have increased by 27.1% up to EUR 93.8 million in 2018 as against EUR 73.8 M reported in 2017. Romania is the third market on revenue ration worldwide, after Germany and Poland, posting a ration of 13.9%.
According to Adrian Peake, general manager Medicover Romania, the company has concluded 2018 with a stronger network and with a broader national coverage. In his view, the acquisitions made in Bucharest, Oradea and Oltenia region last year boosted their position on the market. Peake vowed to continue expansion this year and to improve the digitization investments and relation with the patients.
Medicover network in Romania has increased by 50% in 2018 up to 27 clinics following the latest transactions, Pelican Hospital in Oradea, two Academica clinics in Bucharest and Medical Phoenix Center, a private medical operator in Oltenia comprising eight clinics in Craiova, Târgu Jiu, Slatina, Calafat and Drăgășani.
Synevo lab network, also in the Medicover portfolio, had 99 medical tests centers in 33 counties and 42 cities.
