Turkey’s Koton to open its largest store in Romania. EUR 500,000, the value of investment

Turkish retailer Koton will open on Friday, February 13, its largest fashion store in the Romanian market into Bucuresti Mall shopping center, with an investment of EUR 500,000, Mediafax informs.

This store in Bucharest Mall is also the first opened by Koton in Romania in 2007.

According to Burak Akbulat, general manager of the Turkish retailer, the store was expanded and relocated on the ground floor, covering 1,640 sqm.

Turkish retailer will open this spring another two stores totaling 3,000 square meters in Iasi and Timisoara in Iulius shopping centers, Koton entering for the first time both local markets. Currently, the fashion brand operates stores in Bucharest and Ploiesti.

Koton is the leading fashion apparel retailer in Turkey with over 240 stores and 180,000 sqm retail space, offering modern fashion content and a local touch in women, men, kids and accessories collections. Koton also operates over 110 stores in 25 countries, as part of its strategy to become a global brand.
