Turnover of trade with motor vehicles up by 8.6 pc in nine months

The turnover of wholesale and retail trade and repair of motor vehicles and motorcycles increased by 8.6%, unadjusted series, in the first nine months of this year as compared to the same period last year, a release issued by the National Statistics Institute (INS) on Thursday reads.
In seasonally adjusted terms, the turnover also increased by 8.6%.
In September 2015 the turnover of trade with motor vehicles and motorcycles increased against the previous month, both as gross series by 9.5% and as series adjusted by number of working days and seasonality by 4.7%. The turnover for the services provided to the population decreased as compared to the previous month, both as gross series, by 8.2% and as series adjusted by number of working days and seasonality, by 0.5%.
