Romanian unicorn UiPath has announced the competition UiPath Automation Awards 2019, addressing B2B automation software businesses in Central and Eastern Europe. Scheduled to end in October this year, the competition is staking EUR 50,000 for the winner in the Startup category.
The most promising entries will pitch their ideas live on October 30, 2019 to win one of the two grand prize packages.
Any startup or early stage automation company in the CEE region (Albania, Belarus, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, the Czech Republic, Estonia, Greece, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Malta, Moldova, Poland, Romania, the Slovak Republic, Slovenia, Ukraine, or Turkey) is eligible.
There are two categories: Startup and Scale-up. There will be one grand prize winner in each category. In the Startup category, there will a cash prize of EUR 50,000, while for the scale-up section, the prize consists of sales support, meaning the winner will be present its technology to four clients hand-picked by UiPatk and will also be able to have its technology featured in the UiPath Immersion Labs.
Companies must apply by September 2, 2019. The judges will select the semifinalists by October 7, 2019. Semifinalists will be invited to present during the How to Web conference in Bucharest, Romania on October 30, 2019. Grand prize winners will be announced at the conference in the 2019 UiPath Automation Awards ceremony.
