Ukrainian company to build plasma medicines facility in Romania

The Ukrainian company Biopharma Plasma is preparing the construction of a factory in Oradea where it will produce medicines by processing plasma, Bihoreanul local newspaper announces. The new facility will cost 37 million euros, and is scheduled to be completed by February 2026.

According to the project submitted to the Bihor County Environment Directorate, the drug production unit will be built on a plot of land with an area of ​​34,370 square meters and will process 1.2 million liters of frozen human plasma (the liquid component of blood) annually to obtain vital drugs.
