United Romanian Breweries Bereprod (URBB) has new President

Starting the first quarter of 2019, Kobi Dar has taken over the position of President of the United Romanian Breweries Bereprod (URBB), also known as Tuborg Romania.

The new president of the company boasts a 20-year experience in the beverages sector and over 10 years in top management positions. Kobi Dar worked at URBB Romania before, during 2005-2009, when he was Supply Chain Vice-President.

According to Kobi Dar’s statements, he is happy to be back in Romania and to continue the success tradition of URBB. He pointed out that the company has a very good platform to boost their position as innovators on the beer and soft drink market, as well as a strong and competitive team.

“I am glad to return to Romania and honored by the opportunity to continue URBB’s successful tradition. The results of recent years show that we are a mature company with remarkable results. URBB’s standards are held very high and within the company we have a great platform that allows us to strenghten our position as inovators on the beer and soft drinks markets. We are a very strong and competitive team, made up of talented and ambitious people. Our brands are strong, international, with tradition on the beer market, which consolidates our position in Horeca. We will continue to offer our consumers in Romania varied and high-quality products, as we have accustomed them,” said Kobi Dar, President, URBB.
