US startup Crossover wants to hire 200 people next year, most specialists in IT, but also engineers, architects and marketing specialists. The employees will apply for a 100 percent remote job, meaning a job that is done away from the office in a remote location. This could be either work done from home, or from anywhere the applicant wants.
The salaries range between USD 2,500 and over USD 16,500 monthly, respectively USD 30,000 and USD 200,000 gross per year, similar to those offered by the company in all 85 countries in which activates.
The wages are paid based on the professional skills proven during rigorous testing process.
“We believe that the best talent in the world is looking for long-term careers – not short-term or part-time contracts – so we only offer 40+ hour/week long-term, high paying positions. We are a mission-driven company, believing that by providing high paying jobs to the top talent around the world will transform the global society in a profound and positive way,” Andy Tryba CEO of Crossover stated in Bucharest.
Present in Romania for about a year, the company already has collaborations with 100 Romanians working in projects for foreign companies in various areas, but especially in IT. Just in 2016, Crossover estimates it will pay remunerations to local staff amounting to USD 4 million.
Romanians that are currently working with Crossover are from Bucharest, Iasi, Timisoara, Cluj, Targu Mures, Sibiu and Suceava.
“Companies’ feedbacks for which the Romanians collaborators are working were very good. Romanians are people who want to work hard, so our plans are to extend our in presence here,” Tryba also said, adding that Crossover wants to reach 1,000 employees on domestic market.
