US watch manufacturer to open its first store in Romania

AFI Palace Cotroceni shopping mall in Bucharest will host the first official store of the American fashion-watch brand Fossil, Aura Dinu, Marketing Manager, AFI Palace Malls Division, said in a press release on Wednesday.

Fossil will bring in the new store models of watches and jewelry, sunglasses, perfumes as well as leather goods, handbags, wallets and accessories for women and men.

Products will be both Fossil watch and other brands, such as Adidas, Burberry, Diesel, DKNY, Emporio Armani, Armani Exchange, Michael Kors, Marc By Marc Jacobs, Skagen and Karl Lagerfeld.

With over 30 years of activity in the market, Fossil brand is launching four new collections annually at the beginning of the season, covering products with a unique design.

Fossil Group announced that will launch more than 100 connected devices in 2016. Operating in both the fashion and tech industries, Fossil Group is uniquely positioned to produce a broad variety of connected products that appeal to both fashion and consumer electronics channels.

The company and its brands will now have more than 50,000 total points of sale this year, ranging from department stores to jewelry stores to big box consumer electronics retailers and more.

The company’s products are sold to department stores, specialty retail stores and specialty watch and jewelry stores in the U.S. and in approximately 150 countries worldwide through 23 company-owned foreign sales subsidiaries and a network of approximately 75 independent distributors.
