Veranda mall in Bucharest to get EUR 25.5 M for project development

The shopping centre within the Bucur Obor area, build on the former platform of the Prodplast factory, signed a financing deal of EUR 25.5 million with Raiffeisen Bank SA and Raiffeisen Bank International AG for the development of the project in the next period, a press release informs.

The credit agreement for Veranda shopping center was completed in February 2016 in order to partly finance the total cost for project development. The deal provides the opportunity to increase the financing up to EUR 28.5 million.

The project will benefit a total investment of EUR 60 million.

Veranda has reached a 70 percent occupancy rate already. Its opening is scheduled for the last quarter of this year.

The mall will be organized on two levels, over 100 retail units and over 1.200 parking spaces. Its modular structure will allow expansion in the future.
