Tarom Board of Directors has appointed Wolff Werner Wilhelm as new interim manager of the national flag carrier, a press release informs on Monday.
“(…) Wolff Werner Wilhelm has a four-month mandate contract. The decision comes as a result of the evaluation of several applications submitted to the Board of Directors,” the release reads.
Former interim Director of Tarom, Ileana Daniela Dragne, has resigned from the air company’s helm last Wednesday, claiming medical reasons.
She is the fourth Tarom Director General to resign this year, after Florin Susanu, Dan Iulius Plaveti and Eugen Davidoiu.
Meanwhile, Transport Minister Felix Stroe sent a control commission led by State Secretary Dragos Titea, to check Tarom’s financial situation.
