Wizz Air announces two new routes from Romania to Germany

Wizz Air has announced today two new routes to Germany from Sibiu to Karlsruhe/Baden Baden and from Suceava to Munich Memmingen. Both routes are starting from 17 June but Romanian passengers can already plan their trips to these cities as tickets are already available on wizzair.com with fares starting from as low as RON 99/ EUR 19.99.

Baden-Baden becomes the fifth WIZZ destination in Germany from Sibiu after Frankfurt Hahn, Munich Memmingen, Dortmund and Nürnberg and expands the geographical coverage by Wizz Air’s extensive low fare network in this part of Europe, so popular among Romanian travellers. Baden Baden is a German spa town, with many springs. The city offers various options for sports enthusiasts. The countryside is ideal for hiking and mountain climbing. In the winter Baden-Baden is a beloved skiing destination.

For Suceava, the new route to Munich Memmingen represents the first low fare link to Germany, which brings new opportunities for low-cost travel to this part of Europe. Germany is becoming the third country after the UK and Italy, available on Wizz Air’s low fares from Suceava. Memmingen is a town with many perspectives. The city boasts over 150 restaurants, cafes and wine bars for each culinary taste. Museums, exhibitions and theatres present a wide range of interesting entertainment. The calendar of festivals which is filled with events such as Fisher Day, Children’s Festival, Town Festival, Memmingen in Bloom, the Fair or Christmas Market invite citizens and visitors to celebrate.

The Baden – Sibiu flights will be operational as of June 17 every Monday and Friday, with fares starting from RON  19,99. The flight to Memmingen-Suceava flights will be also operational as of June 17, every Monday, Wednesday and Friday, with fares from EUR 19,99.
