Wizz Air has announced today that is gradually reopening 27 routes to destinations in 9 countries operated from several Romanian airports. The resumed flights will be restarted by June 6. Wizz Air offers a wide range of low-fare routes to the most attractive countries and cities across Europe including Italy and Germany, relevant destination countries for the Romanian passengers. Tickets are available online on wizzair.com and through the mobile app.
In the context of Covid-19 restriction slowly easing across Europe, Wizz Air is moving forward, announcing the reopening of routes that will take its passengers to diverse European destinations. Starting May 21, anyone will be able to book tickers and enjoy a much-needed holiday or visit family and friends across the continent over the summer to even more WIZZ destinations.
Countries that Wizz Air reopens flights to are Germany, Italy, Spain, Switzerland, United Kingdom, Portugal, Holland, France and Malta. Anticipating the travel demand, Wizz Air resumes several services from Bucharest, Cluj-Napoca, Timișoara, Târgu Mureș, Iași, Sibiu, Bacău, Craiova and Suceava, to popular destinations like Rome, Turin, Pisa, Cagliari, Bologna, Venice Treviso, Catania and Milan or Memmingen and Frankfurt-Hahn. Once more, Wizz Air proves its resilience through this announcement and reconnects Romania to Liverpool, Edinburgh, and Birmingham but also to Palma de Mallorca, Eindhoven, Lisbon, Lyon, Geneva and Malta.
Furthermore, to ensure that passengers and the crew travel safely and worry-free, Wizz Air restates its onboard safety protocols and the effective ventilation system. The ventilation system that the aircraft is equipped with is designed to fully change the air in the cabin 20 times per hour, so that clean air is permanently circulated.
