A programmer from Cluj has launched a mobile application that will change the way you interact with the books – Tanna. Available on both Android and iOS platforms, Tanna is an app innovative that allows you to trade, donate or sell the books you’ve read or the ones you’ve read you don’t want them anymore.
The main features of the app allow you to create auctions for your books either manually or by scanning the ISBN code. Once the auction is created, it becomes visible to the whole Tanna community. The user who initiated the auction will receive bids from other users, and the choice of the winner is up to him. After the auction is completed, the two users will have 7 days to work out the details of the card transfer, directly in the app’s chat.
Tanna is a free app and can be installed on any smartphone from Google Play or App Store. It is suitable both for those who have accumulated a considerable collection of books along the way time, but also for those looking for new readings. Moreover, the application offers a multitude of user activities such as trivia, contests and more. The purpose of the application is to promote a sustainable conduct based on a circular economy, both necessary nowadays.
The developer of the application, Pașca Ovidiu-Ionuț, is a young man from Cluj-Napoca, passionate about technology. Ionuț dedicated his last years to assiduous and sustained learning in the field of Technology and Information, working as a programmer in some companies of IT. The idea for Tanna came from a personal need felt since adolescence: that to have a place where they can trade cards with others. Driven by passion and using knowledge accumulated in his career, he began to shape and develop Tanna.
“To be entrepreneur was not a dream to me, but to create and leave something behind became a necessity,” Ionut Pasca said.
