Tiriac Holdings, through Tiriac Energy company, will enter in the next three years in direct competition with major retailers of petrol and diesel stations by building a network of gas stations with discounter prices.
“We have an ongoing pilot project of seven stations, of which six are operational since December last year. The volume target will come only in 2017, as next year we will build. We want to build in 2016 at least 50 gas stations and in three years we want to get to 200 units nationwide. We also aim European expansion,” said Remus Hîrceag?, general manager of Tiriac Energy, according to zf.ro.
In addition, premium stations will allow rapid supply of electric cars. Last year the company achieved a turnover of EUR 60 million and the target for this year is EUR 100 million, while the operating profit of the company is about 1% of the turnover.
