Romanian men’s handball champions, Dinamo Bucharest, defeated Norwegian team Elverum Handball 26-24 (12-11) on Wednesday, in a match counting for the Champions League, Group D.
It was a balanced game, led by one or two goals by the hosts, nevertheless the guests took the lead in the 21st minute (6-7). However, Dinamo resumed attacks and ended the first half in the lead 12-11.
The lead reached three goals in the 34th minute (14-11), then the Norwegian team equalized at 15-15. Dinamo Bucharest regained the advantage to lead 21-18, 23-12, then again the guests leveled the score at 23-23. Dinamo pushed hard at the end of the second half to win 26-24.
