Romanian women’s handball champions, CSM Bucharest, were defeated Sunday evening, at home, by the Norwegian team Vipers Kristiansand 31-26, after a poor game.
The match counted for Champions League, Group D and was the first defeat under the new Serbian coach, Dragan Djukici.
Kristiansand was the EHF Cup finalist this summer, which lost against CSM Craiova by one goal difference.
Group D standings: 1. Ferencsvaros – 6 points, 2. CSM Bucharest – 4, 3-4. Vipers and Bietingheim – 3 points each.
