The civil servants with the public administration will sue the Government, the National Civil Servants’ Trade Union (SNFP) leader, Sebastian Oprescu, has said on Tuesday, for reasons related to the wage law and the social security contributions’ transfer.
“We will sue the Government on the three normative documents, i.e. the wage law, ordinance 79 on the transfer of contributions from employer to employee and ordinance 90 on wages increase in 2018 for the transfer of amounts to support the contributions. Unfortunately, not everyone received the 25% increase. Some benefit from partial increase, some not at all and others, on the contrary, have had their wages cut because they were above the wage scale limit,” Oprescu said, according to ziare.com.
The trade union leader says that out of the 70,000 civil servants with the central administration, some 30,000 are affected by the above mentioned normative documents.
“As some state employees benefit from the amounts transferred as contributions and others do not, following consultations with our law office, we will sue for the normative documents on behalf of those 30,000 people with the central public administration,” Oprescu said.
