The meteorologists have updated on Wednesday the Code Yellow warning for storms issued Tuesday, by extending the interval, but with fewer counties affected.
Thus, the Code Yellow for storms is valid from Wednesday 12:30h to Thursday at 23:00h. It targets the eastern and south-eastern regions of the Eastern and Southern Carpathians.
The rainfall will become torrential, with frequent electric discharges, wind intensification that will turn into tempest on isolated areas.
By accumulation or in short periods of time, the quantities of water will reach 20-25 litres per square metre and on small areas 40-50 litres per square metre.
By Wednesday evening at 21:00h, the Code Orange for storm is still in force for the counties at the seaside.
