‘Competitive Romania’ project to be launched this week

Government strategy document ‘Competitive Romania – a project for sustainable economic growth’ will be released on Tuesday at the Parliament Palace, an event that will be attended by President Klaus Iohannis, Romania’s central bank governor Mugur Isarescu and Prime Minister Dacian Cioloş, gov.ro informs.

The document can be “improved” following public debates and consultations because the Executive’s goal is “to improve the draft’s initial form in order to get social consensus on priority areas and concrete measures to be taken for reaching the objective of sustainable economic growth,” Gov’t announced in a press release.

Political leaders, Prime Minister Dacian Ciolos and National Bank Governor Mugur Isarescu will have this week new round of consultations, the draft agenda including Brexit issue and the post-accession country project in the context of UK’s referendum.
