The current absorption of European funds has increased by 0.95 percentage points on February 2, against the level on January 11, up to 11.81%, with expenditure statements worth EUR 3.64 million on the 2014-2020 financial framework, a report posted on the website of the Ministry for European Funds (MFE) informs.
In terms of actual absorption, meaning reimbursements from the European Commission, it increased by 0.06 percentage points to 10.07%.
On overall European Structural and Investment Funds, the highest level of absorption is in the Operational Programme SMEs, of 93.09%, followed by the National Programme for Rural Development – 29.5% and Operational Programme Technical Assistance – 23.28%.
The poorest performances are in the Operational Programme Human Capital – 0.09%, Regional Operational Programme – 0.41% and Operational Programme Administrative Capacity – 4.29%.
The absorption rate in the European Agricultural Guarantee Fund (EAGF) 2015-2020 is of 38.99%.
