Four quakes shook Romania on Wednesday

Four earthquakes took place on Wednesday in Romania, the National Institute for Research and Development for Earth Physics (INFP) reports.

The strongest quake occurred at 2.17h in Vrancea region, with a magnitude de 3.8 degrees on Richter scale, at a depth of 109 km, realitatea.net informs.

Another quake, similarly strong, 3.8 degrees, was registered at 7.33h, at a depth of 148 km, in Buzau County.

It was followed by a 2.5 degrees quake at 18.49h, in Vrancea County and by a 2.9 degrees one, at 20.03h, in Buzau County, at a depth of 137 km.
