Delphi Technologies, the renowned company providing combustion systems, electrification products and software and controls for the automotive industry has opened the first IT center in Bucharest on Thursday. The center will have 150 employees and will provide services for the company’s technological centers, and for its factories and support service divisions.
Edward Mandic, vice-president and Chief Information Officer, Delphi Technologies, said that the team in Bucharest will develop technical solutions and innovation services to support those over 20,000 employees worldwide.
The staff in Bucharest will cover basic positions such as security and IT compliance, engineering architecture, IT operations, resource planning and global solution delivery.
The investment in Bucharest is added to those over EUR 300 million already invested in the production capacity in Iasi, where high pressure pumps and injector for the automotive industry are produced.
