Labour minister heard in a file related to works carried out by TelDrum

Labour minister, Olguta Vasilescu, has been heard at the General Prosecutor’s Office on Monday in a case related to EU-funded works. The claimant says the city hall of Craiova, led by Olguta Vasilescu at that time did not have permit to operate the works.

Judicial sources reveal that prosecutors are probing into the way TelDrum (said to be close to the Social Democeat chairman Liviu Dragnea) would have made those unauthorized works on a street in Craiova, within an investment made with EU funds.

The file has been opened following a notification filed by the State Constructions. The inspectors found out that some works would have been accomplished by the company lacking authorization.

Liviu Dragnea has been prosecuted by DNA in the TelDrum file, for setting up a criminal organized group, abuse of office and EU funds embezzlement in the view of favoring TelDrum to be assigned contracts. The deeds would have been committed while Dragnea was the leader of the Teleorman County Council.
