Lenny Kravitz will return to Romania next year, more precisely in Cluj-Napoca, for the first time. The famous artist performed in Bucharest in 2008. For the first time on a stage in Transylvania, Kravitz is coming to Cluj-Napoca next year to promote his new album „Raise Vibration”.
So, fans will be able to listen to his new songs at the Polyvalent Hall in Cluj-Napoca on May 6, 2019, along with hits such as „Are You Gonna Go My Way”, „If You Can’t Say No”, „I Belong To You”, „Fly Away” and „American Woman”.
The concert in Cluj-Napoca is part of the European world tour Raise Vibration that will kick off on April 26 next year. The tour includes performances in 16 countries in Europe, among which France, Germany, Belgium, Italy, Finland, Denmark, Poland, Slovenia, Bulgaria, and, of course, Romania.
Raise Vibration, the 11th album of the artist, has been launched on September 7 and contains songs mixing more musical genres such as rock ‘n’ roll, funk, blues and soul.
One of the album’s piece, „It’s Enough”, has distinguished itself as one of the strongest compositions, being a critical reflection over the problems that mankind is facing worldwide.
The second single „Low” starts from a funky sound to which trumpets, strings and numerous voices are added, some of them inspired by Michael Jackson.
Dubbed as one of the most prominent musicians of our times, Lenny Kravitz has overcome the barriers imposed by any musical genre, race and social statute over his 20 years of music career. Songwriter, producer, vocalist and instrument player, he won a Grammy for the „Best Male Rock Vocal Performance” category four years in a row.
His 10 albums have been sold in more than 38 million copies and he also performed as an actor in „The Hunger Games: Catching Fire”, „Precious” and „The Butler”.
