Men’s handball, Champions League: Dinamo Bucharest defeats Kadetten Schaffhausen in the last second

Men’s handball team Dinamo Bucharest defeated the Swiss team Kadetten Schaffhausen 29028 (14-12) on Wednesday in Group C of the Champions League, the victory goal being scored in the last second of the match by Sajad Esteki.

In the first half Dinamo took the lead by 4-2, 6-4, 11-9 and 14-12 and led even after the break by 21-18. After the injury of Milan Sajin, Dinamo led by four goals, however the visiting team succeeded to equalise 26-26. Iranian player Sajad Esteki scored in the last second to secure Dinamo’s victory.
