Monza has announced the acquisition of the ProEstetica Medical Center in Bucharest, informs the group’s press release. Following the takeover, the medical unit in the Dorobanti area will be knows as “Monza Medical Center”.
“This step represents a new stage in extanding the Monza brand in Romania and in Bucharest. We are pleased to be able to contribute to developing a medical business created both out of passion for medicine and also of commitment. We’ll continue to provide patients at Monza Medical Center with high-quality medical services, this time in a new location in Bucharest,” said Luca Militello, CEO Monza group.
Within Monza Medical Center, patients will have access to medical services of general surgery, plastic surgery, cardiology, neurosurgery, dentistry, orthopedics, ENT and deramatology.
The capacity of the Monza Medical Center is for 13 beds, four doctor’s surgeries, three operating rooms, within a total area of 1,200sqm.

Two weeks ago, Monza has commissioned the first national network of cardiology clinics in Giurgiu, after an investment of over EUR 4.5 M. This year new clinics in Constanta, Bucharest, Focsani, Buzau, Pitesti are planned, and after that in Braila, Calarasi and other cities. The investment for each clinic will mount to about EUR 120,000-EUR 150,000.
