A new border point with Bulgaria has been inaugurated in Constanta county on Monday. Dobromir-Kurshari border check point is destined for the international freight and human traffic.
The working hours will be 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. and transport of dangerous materials, live animal is banned.
The fitting-out works have considered that the venue meets the Schengen requirements.
The new border point joins those 10 existing ones between Romania and Bulgaria.
The length of the Romania’s frontier with Bulgaria is 631 km and the border points have been transited this year by over 7.4 million passengers (about 5.7 million of them were EU citizens and 1.7 million non-EU residents).
