The Gala Evening of the CERBUL DE AUR Festival 2018, produced by Romanian Television, will be an unforgettable event for fans. World famous Nicole Scherzinger, lead singer of the Pussycat Dolls, will light up the stage in Brasov’s central square with an exciting performance, a press release by TVR informs.
On the stage in Brasov, Nicole Scherzinger will perform her solo hits, as well as the iconic Pussycat Doll favourites.
For her fans in Romania, Nicole Scherzinger has a special message : „Bună! I’m so excited to come to Romania and perform for you all in Brasov on the 1st September. Get ready to party with me!”.
With over 15 million fans on her global social networks, the American star will perform for the first time in front of the Romanian public at the CERBUL DE AUR Festival. This special performance will be broadcast live on TVR, on September 1st.
“Stickwitu”, “Don’t Cha” or “Buttons” are just a few of the hits that brought worldwide recognition for Nicole and the Pussycat Dolls. After reaching the Top 10 on Billboard Hot 100 with the Pussycat Dolls’ releases, Nicole chose to pursue a solo career, collaborating with artists such as Enrique Iglesias, Eros Ramazzotti, Shaggy, Will Smith, P. Diddy, Snoop Dogg, Timbaland, 50 Cent, will.i.am and many others.
A bonafide superstar and sex-symbol, Nicole has been associated with numerous beauty brands and health products, and even recently launched her first signature perfume.
Talented singer, composer, dancer and actress, Nicole also has a successful television career. In 2001, she won the first edition of Popstars and in 2010, the 10th season of “Dancing with the Stars”. Since 2011, she was part of the X Factor judging panel both in the US & UK.
This year, at half a century from the first edition of the CERBUL DE AUR, Romanian Television has prepared an event full of numerous performances of Romanian and foreign top singers. So, The Romanian public will see on the stage of the “CERBUL DE AUR” International Festival performances of artists such as: Andra, Delia, Horia Brenciu, Loredana, The Motans, Carla’s Dreams, Flavius Teodosiu, The Humans, James Blunt, Amy Macdonald, Gigliola Cinquetti, Eleni Foureira, Edvin Marton, and in the Festival Gala, Nicole Scherzinger.
The contest section of the festival will have 18 protagonists. Artists from 15 countries will try to obtain the Big Trophy of the CERBUL DE AUR Festival or one of the 8 prizes: The First Prize, The Second Prize, The Third Prize, the award for the best interpretation of a Romanian song, the award of Brasov city, the award of the public, the award of the Festival’s Press and the award of the public institutions of radio and television
There have been put on sale several categories of tickets for the 5 days of the Festival: – CERBUL DE AUR Club, VIP, the 1st Category, the 2nd Category, the 3rd Category and subscriptions which are starting from the amount of 50 de lei. These are available on the Eventim.ro site and in the network of partner stores: Orange, Vodafone, Telekom, Carrefour, OMV gas stations, Cărtureşti bookshops, Diverta and Humanitas.
Organised by the Romanian Television, CERBUL DE AUR International Festival, will be broadcast on TVR 1 and TVR Moldova, in the period August 29th – September 2nd.
CERBUL DE AUR International Festival had its debut in 1968 and had 17 editions, the last having been organised in 2009. The event has become the greatest International Music Festival in Romania, being traditionally organised in Brașov city.
