The optional pension funds’s assets reached almost RON 1,872 billion on March 31, 2018, up by 16.39 percent year-on-year, according to data released by the Financial Supervisory Authority (ASF).
The state bonds had the highest weight within the assets, worth RON 1.086 billion, or 58.03 percent, respectively. Second came the shares, by RON 421.41 million (23.29 percent). The corporate bonds ranked third, with RON 116.465 million, 6.22 percent, respectively from the total assets.
Pillar III pension fund’s total assets’ value was RON 1.872 billion at end-March, while the net assets’ value reached at RON 1.869 billion.
The optional pension funds counted for 452,997 participants at 31 March 2018.
Aegon Esential, Azt Moderato, Azt Vivace, BCR Plus, BRD Medio, NN Activ, NN Optim, Pensia Mea, Raiffeisen Acumulare and Stabil are the pension funds activating on Pillar III.
