PM Viorica Dancila has made a new blunder on Monday while visiting the Airplane Factory in Craiova , stating that the express road that will serve as motorway from Craiova to Pitesti will lead to “de-concession” of the traffic in the area, instead of “removing congestion”.
“The contracts for designing and execution for the express road Craiova-Pitesti, on sections 1 and 2, have been assigned today. The completion work is 36 months, while the warranty is 7 years,” PM Dancila said.
Referring to the traffic congestion in the area and wanting to say removing congestion, the head of the Government said instead “de-concession”. The prime minister has babbled and ended the sentence without correcting herself.
“For us it’s important to start this project, and those 58 km related to sections 1 and 2 will lead to the long expected de-concession…erm… of the traffic in Bals and Slatina localities,” Dancila stated.
Upon leaving the factory, PM Dancila avoided the journalists who were expecting her for statements, although they had been officially announced.
A Digi 24 reporter told an employee of the Government that the statements had been initially scheduled. “You initially told us that she will answer questions at the factory“. “I am from the Government, but we didn’t organize the visit. I tell you what the organizers told me,” says the employee.
“It’s not fair,” continues the reporter and the clerk replies: “What shall I do? She hasn’t the written answers“.
