The Government hailed the anniversary, on Friday, of 135 years of diplomatic relations with the French Republic, the Federal Republic of Germany and the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland.

“Romania shares a special relationship of friendship with the three states, manifested through constant political dialogue and a solid bilateral economic cooperation, in which the emphasis is placed on the appurtenance and common future within the European and Euro-Atlantic space,” reads a Government’s press release.

The executive also mentioned that the “solid” partnership with the three countries within the EU and NATO, as well as the strategic bilateral relations enable “a deepening cooperation in the future, within the joint effort to respond to challenges at the European and international level”.
