If parliamentary election would take place next Sunday, just over 40% of Romanians would vote for the new PNL and 37% would opt for PSD, reveals a survey conducted by CSCI during August 10-17 and sent on Monday to Agerpres.
According to the survey, 41% of electors would vote for the new National Liberal Party (PNL + PDL) and 37% would choose PSD. Against December 2014, PNL has dropped in the polls by about 10 percent (from 52% confidence), while the PSD has increased from 35% to 37% in August 2015.
UDMR and M10, Monica Macovei’s party, would get 5% of votes, while the ALDE (PLR + PC), PMP and PRU would win each some 3% of the Romanians’ votes. UNPR would get 2% of the vote in parliamentary elections. 1% of voters would choose another political party.
The CSCI survey was conducted on a sample of 1,021 people, using the CATI method. The sample was validated on INSSE 2009 data and on the 2002 population census, the error margin is 3.1% at a 95% probability level.
