ALDE Political Bureau requests the Standing Delegation to expel Daniel Constantin from the party
ALDE Political Bureau has decided on Thursday to request the Standing Delegation to expel Daniel Constantin from the party, ALDE Chairman Calin Popescu Tariceanu (photo) has said. The reasons for this request lie in the lawsuits against the party opened by Daniel Constantin.
“I haven’t voted, my colleagues did, the proposal will be submitted to the Standing Delegation to be summoned next week, on Thursday. The proposal is not a reason for joy, but on the other hand we are not ready to admit all kinds of stupidities, all the aberrations said against us. We may have disputes, disagreements on political issues, but personal attacks mean an exit out of the normal political discourse and thus all of us should mind our own business,” Tariceanu said.
He added that the ALDE members who have signed the law challenges against the party have as deadline a week to withdraw their signatures before being expelled from the party.
