Before censure motion today, former PM Ponta posts ‘warning photo’ to Dragnea
Former Prime Minister Victor Ponta “warns” PSD leader Liviu Dragnea not to paralyze the debates on the censure motion with the sinister propaganda of the “fight against the parallel state” and posts a “warning photo” picturing Ponta, Liviu Dragnea and George Maior, digi24.ro informs.
“Tomorrow (on Wednesday – our note) is the censure motion against the Government / although there is no chance of passing it, we need to use this moment to discuss the real governance issues: high inflation and the credit growth, increasing budget and trade deficit, lack of public investment and absorption of European funds, the politicization and influencing of state-owned companies, the abandonment of large-scale environmental projects, etc.,” Ponta wrote on his Facebook page.
He warned Liviu Dragnea not to interfere with the discussion of the censure motion.
“I warn Liviu Dragnea not to interfere the discussion of the censure motion with those stupid lies and the sinister propaganda of the ‘fight against the Parallel State’ / Liviu Dragnea knows very well that this is a manipulation made up by his counsellors – the ‘Parallel State’ never existed, but only institutions of the Romanian State that worked better or worse – and Liviu Dragnea struggled and struggles even today to get closer to these institutions and negotiate with them – and when he cannot use them in his interest, he attacks them as ‘Parallel State’; if justice has condemned Dragnea, he understands that he did not ‘negotiate’ quite well with ‘the State’,” Ponta wrote.
Victor Ponta also says that, unlike George Maior and Eduard Hellvig, who have an institutional duty not to respond to ‘Dragnea’s filth’, he kept silent out of respect for the Romanian state and because of the embarrassment to ‘wash in public’ the dirty laundry of ‘comrade Liviu’.
“So I decided to present a warning photo to Dragnea / I know he will understand my message, I know he is afraid of those he said he is not afraid of, and I ask him that on Wednesday to let us talk in Parliament on the issues of governance, without his poisoning propaganda about the ‘Parallel State’!” Victor Ponta concluded, posting the mentioned photo.
