Bucharest Local Elections 2024, partial official results: Nicușor Dan Leads with 46.88%, Firea ranks second with 22.33%

The first partial results after the June 9 local elections reconfirm the Sunday evening exit poll rankings for the candidates for the Capital City Hall. The attendance was slightly higher than in the previous local and European parliamentary elections, from 2020 and 2019, respectively.

Nicușor Dan won the Capital City Hall with even more huge score: 46.88%. Gabriela Firea, in second place, obtained only 22.33%, according to the official partial results.

Cristian Popescu Piedone (PUSL) – 16.17%
Sebastian Burduja (PNL) – 7.54%
Mihai Enache (AUR) – 3.06%
Diana Şoşoacă (S.O.S. Romania) – 2.59%)

For the General Council of the Capital, PSD has the most votes – 27%. ADU follows, with 26.55%, PNL – 12.41%, PUSL – 10.11%, AUR – 8.22% and REPER – 6.98%, according to the official partial results.

As for the Capital’s districts, even if the score was tight in districts 1 and 2, the official winners are now known.

In District 1, George Tuţă (the candidate of the Electoral Alliance PSD – PNL) won the position of mayor, after obtaining 36.44% of the votes (24,323 votes), after centralizing the data from 122 wards. Clotilde Armand is second, only 50 votes away, with 35.73%.
In District  2, Rareş Hopincă (the candidate of the Electoral Alliance PSD – PNL) won the position of mayor, according to the partial results presented on Monday by the Permanent Electoral Authority. Radu Mihaiu obtained 42.01% of the votes.
In District 3, PNL-PSD candidate Robert Negoiţă won a new mandate, according to the partial results presented on Monday by AEP. The centralized data from 260 polling stations, posted on the prezenta.roaep.ro website, reveals that Robert Negoiţă obtained 54.18% of the votes (71,044 votes). In second place in this sector was the candidate of the United Right Alliance, Lucian Judele, who obtained 20.38% of the votes (26,729 votes), and in third place the independent candidate Ana Ciceală with 16.06% of the votes (21,057 votes ).
In District 4, the current mayor Daniel Băluţă, candidate of the Electoral Alliance PSD PNL, won a new mandate, according to the data uploaded on the website of the Permanent Electoral Authority, he obtained 60.77% of the votes (63,020 votes), following the centralization of the results from 170 sections. In second place was the candidate of the United Right Alliance, Paul Ene, with 19.20% of the votes (19,907 votes), and in third place – Matei Ştefănescu (Alliance for the Union of Romanians) – with 7.07% of the votes (7,330 votes).
In District 5, Vlad Piedone, the son of the current mayor Cristian Popescu Piedone, received the most votes – 43.71%, followed by Alexandru Paul Dimitriu, the candidate of the United Right Alliance, with 21.69%.
In District 6, Ciprian Ciucu (PSD – PNL candidate) won a new mandate at the City Hall of Sector 6 of the Capital, according to the partial results presented on Monday by the Permanent Electoral Authority. According to the centralized data from 222 polling stations (until 12:00), posted on the prezenta.roaep.ro website, Ciprian Ciucu obtained 72.83% of the votes (95,598 votes).
His main opponent – Mihaela Ştefan (Alianţa Dreapta Unită USR – PMP – Forţa Dreptei) – obtained 11.60% of the votes (15,228 votes).

    PSD has to evidentially understand that the electorate is not dumb. They published a poll of Firea at pare with Dan 3 days before Sunday. Now the difference is stunning!
